Twitter Switches

I haven't really found an iPhone twitter program that I like. I started with echofon, then switched to the official app, then to hootsuite, back to echofon and I just switched again back to the official app. I'm not really 100% happy with any of them.

Why did I switch again? Because my usual program is actually ubertwitter for blackberry. Which got shut down on Friday. And meant I needed to use twitter through iPhone and figure out which one was best for right now until they can get ubersocial up. With all the updates, it seems to keep changing how they work so I keep switching apps.

Here's what I want and got with ubertwitter. And they're simple things, not even the additional things ubertwitter could do.

1. Keep my place in the timeline. After I open a tweet it should return me to that spot and not send me to the top. Is that so hard?

2. Pull in updates periodically so I have a constant stream instead of multiple hour long breaks.

Any recommendations? Right now the official app is working best, but I'd love to find the "perfect" program.
